So you really want to know what your favorite celebrity is doing? Not a problem. You can easily find him/her on Facebook except there are dozens of impersonators and pages created by fans. The problem with any social network is the ability to sort through the riff raff and identify people you want to follow (especially celebrities). Twitter faced the impersonation problem and introduced the “Verified Account” policy validating the celebrities and helping users follow their favorite celebs.
For long Facebook has had a page dedicated to “Celebs on Facebook”, although going by the fan count not many people are aware of it. Celeb on Facebook is Facebook’s initiative to keep track of celebs joining Facebook and not only is this a PR initiative from Facebook’s perspective, but also helps users verify and follow the original celeb.
Check the Favorite Pages tab in the left sidebar to see exactly who is on Facebook and although the page doesn’t reflect a comprehensive list of celebrities on Facebook, it is constantly updated as and when celebs join the network. Surprisingly, only 2.7 million are fans of the page with the other users finding out through their friends, press or by searching on Facebook (which shows tons of results for any given celebrity – from Wikipedia page to pages created by fans and spammers too).

Located your site via bing the other day and absolutely love it. Keep up the fantastic work.
